Comtech Telecommunications (CMTL) said late Wednesday that its board has elected Kenneth Traub as executive chairman.
Mark Quinlan has stepped down as chair of the board and will stay on the board, the company said.
Comtech said that in addition to Traub's role in chairing the board, he will be the senior executive leading the company.
John Ratigan, Comtech's president and chief executive, will report directly to Traub, the company said.
