SKY Perfect JSAT (TYO:9412) has established the Universal NTN Innovation Lab at its Yokohama Satellite Control Center as of Nov. 1, according to its filing on Monday.
This facility will test Non-Terrestrial Network technologies to support the Universal NTN concept, aimed at providing reliable global connectivity using GEO, NonGEO satellites, and HAPS.
The lab will focus on advancing 5G NTN technologies and developing new communication methods via satellite communications.
