Leader Education (HKG:1449) expects a post-tax net profit of between 18 million yuan and 20 million yuan for the year ended Aug. 31, down from 57.6 million yuan a year prior, a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The higher education services provider attributed the anticipated drop in profit mainly to higher finance costs amid a rise in bank and other borrowings.
