Quantum-Si (QSI) and SkyWaterTechnology (SKYT) said Wednesday that they expanded their collaboration to support the development of Quantum-Si's Proteus platform for proteomic research.
The companies said their expanded collaboration will cover the development of consumables for Proteus to enable "simultaneous large factor, protein sequencing" with accuracy.
Quantum-Si and SkyWater started their partnership in 2021 on the Platinum platform and SkyWater will continue supplying the consumables for the Platinum Pro platform, while also supporting Proteus' commercialization, according to the statement.
Quantum-Si shares were up over 80% and shares of SkyWaterTechnology rose past 12% in recent premarket activity.
