Aristocrat Leisure's (ASX:ALL) net profit fell to AU$1.3 billion in the fiscal year ended Sept. 30 from AU$1.45 billion a year earlier, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Analysts polled by Visible Alpha expected a net profit of AU$1.44 billion.
Earnings per share fell to AU$2.036 from AU$2.214 year on year, the filing said. Analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha expected AU$2.255.
Revenue rose 5% to AU$6.6 billion from AU$6.3 billion a year earlier, the filing added. The mean estimate compiled by Visible Alpha was AU$6.67 billion.
The gaming firm declared a dividend of AU$0.42 per share, up from AU$0.36 per share in the preceding six-month period. The dividend is payable on Dec. 20 to shareholders on record as of Dec. 2.
