The Binzhou Intermediate People's Court sentenced Duan Yanxiu, a former China Petroleum & Chemical (HKG:0386, SHA:600028) executive, to 14 years in prison for taking bribes, China News Network reported Tuesday.
Duan was also fined 3.9 million yuan and the property obtained from the bribes was turned over to the state treasury, according to the report.
The court found Duan guilty of illegally accepting property worth 62 million yuan, of which 25 million yuan have yet to be obtained, China News Network wrote.
