Chongqing Iron & Steel's (HKG:1053, SHA:601005) attributable loss widened to 660.5 million yuan in the third quarter from 157.6 million yuan a year earlier.
Loss per share at the iron and steel manufacturer widened to 0.07 yuan from 0.02 yuan a year earlier.
Revenue from operations declined 39% year over year to 5.51 billion yuan, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.
Shares slid 3% in Hong Kong and 2% in Shanghai during Friday's trading.
