China Suntien Green Energy (HKG:0956, SHA:600956) recorded a net profit attributable to shareholders of 65.8 million yuan for the third quarter of the year, 3.14% lower than the corresponding period last year, a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.
Earnings per share stood at 0.02 yuan for the three months ended Sept. 30, up 100% as compared with the year-ago period.
The natural gas and wind power corporation's operating income for the quarter was 3.65 billion yuan, 18.72% higher than a year ago.
The company's shares were up over 2% on Thursday's close.
