Sandfire Resources (ASX:SFR) recorded an annual increase in group copper equivalent production in the first quarter ended September to 38,000 tonnes from 31,400 tonnes.
Fiscal Q1 MATSA copper equivalent production rose year over year to 23,700 tonnes from 22,800 tonnes, while Motheo copper equivalent production rose to 14,300 tonnes from 8,600 tonnes year on year, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Group capital expenditure inched up $46 million from $45 million.
Sandfire Resources shares were down nearly 3% in recent trade.
