Yancoal Australia Ltd (ASX:YAL) posted 17.5 million tonnes run-of-mine coal production in the September quarter, up 9% from 16.1 million tonnes a year earlier, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
Attributable production was 13.2 million tonnes, compared with 12.1 million tonnes a year earlier, the filing stated.
The Australia-focused coal producer posted 13.2 million tonnes of saleable coal production, 10.2 million tonnes of attributable saleable coal production, and 10.4 million tonnes of attributable coal sales at an average realized coal price of AU$170 per tonne.
