KKR-backed (KKR) Vantage Towers is exploring a sale of its Spanish assets, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the situation.
The owner and operator of telecom towers is working with Morgan Stanley (MS) to assess interest from potential buyers, with the Spanish tower assets potentially valued at around 1 billion euros ($1.1 billion), the people told Blomberg.
The discussions are still in the early stages and Vantage Towers, which is also jointly owned by Global Infrastructure Partners and Vodafone Group (VOD), may choose not to proceed with the sale, the report said.
KKR, Vantage Towers, and Morgan Stanley didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
