Matador Resources Raises Quarterly Dividend by 25%

Matador Resources' board has raised the energy company's quarterly dividend by 25% to 25 cents from 20 cents.

The new payout, equal to $1 a year, represents an annual yield of about 1.97% based on Tuesday's closing price of $50.66, up from 1.58%.

The Dallas company on Wednesday said the increased dividend is payable Dec. 6 to shareholders of record Nov. 15.
