Cloud Music (HKG:9899) plans to change its name to "NetEase Cloud Music Inc." from "Cloud Music Inc." as the company is better recognized through its mobile app, NetEase Cloud Music, a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.
The name change is subject to the passing of a special resolution by the shareholders and approval from the Registrar of Companies of the Cayman Islands.
The online music platform's shares closed nearly 5% lower on Tuesday.
