Sinotrans Plans to Repurchase Up to 542 Million Yuan of Shares; Shares Rise 6%

Sinotrans (SHA:601598) is proposing to buy back between 271 million yuan and 542 million yuan of its shares via centralized bidding transactions.

The shares will be repurchased within 12 months following shareholder approval, according to a Monday filing with the Shanghai bourse.

Shares of the logistics company rose 6% in recent trade on the Shanghai bourse.
