Iridium Communications (IRDM) said Wednesday it has partnered with Nordic Semiconductor to integrate its Iridium NTN Direct service into Nordic's LTE-M/NB-IoT modules and chipsets.
The partnership aims to develop a global NB-IoT service, enabling Iridium's satellite connectivity for any device equipped with a 3GPP release 19 compliant chipset, Iridium said.
