Lotus Resources' (ASX:LOT) Letlhakane uranium project in Botswana presents a scaled and longer-dated production source after completing the Kayelekera mine life, according to a Sept. 19 note from Euroz Hartleys.
The company released its maiden scoping study on Letlhakane, outlining three production scenarios, with the base case being a 15-year life-of-mine producing 3 million pounds per annum at $36 per pound and $465 million of upfront capital expenditure.
The other scenarios under consideration include a smaller operation with less material movement and a larger project with higher throughput at a $100 per pound pit shell, the broker said.
Euroz Hartleys has no rating, estimates, price target, or recommendation for Lotus Resources.
