Datasea Secures $30 Million Contract for 5G Services in China -- Shares Jump

Datasea (DTSS) said Tuesday its Chinese subsidiaries agreed to provide advanced 5G-Artificial Intelligence multimodal services to Qingdao Ruizhi Yixing Information Technology.

Shuhai Information Technology and Guozhong Times (Beijing) Technology started providing 5G services to mobile internet services provider Qingdao Ruizhi Yixing on Aug. 12, and have so far provided approximately $9 million worth of services, as of Sept. 12, Datasea said.

The overall agreements is valued at $30 million over a period of 12 months, the company said.

Datasea shares jumped nearly 43% in recent trading.
