Dorchester Minerals (DMLP) announced acquisitions of mineral, royalty and overriding royalty interests across 14 counties in New Mexico and Texas and in Colorado from unrelated third parties.
On Thursday. Dorchester Minerals agreed to acquire around 14,529 net royalty acres with 65% in the Delaware Basin and 35% in the Midland Basin for 6.72 million units in the limited partnership company.
On Sept 4, Dorchester Minerals agreed to buy 1,204 net royalty acres in Weld County, Colorado, for 530,000 units.
Both acquisitions include contributing cash received effective July 1, and they are expected to close Sept. 30, Dorchester Minerals said Monday in a statement.
Dallas-based Dorchester Minerals owns producing and nonproducing oil and natural gas mineral, royalty, overriding royalty, net profit and leasehold interests in 28 states.
