Shares of Chinese tech giant Xiaomi Corporation surged 5.93% on October 23rd, propelled by strong demand across multiple investor groups. According to a recent analysis, Xiaomi's ownership structure features significant holdings from individual investors, insiders, and institutional players, positioning the stock to benefit from broad-based buying interest.

Individual investors collectively own a 49% stake in Xiaomi, representing the largest shareholder group. With the stock rising 6.3% last week, these retail investors reaped substantial gains from the price appreciation. Xiaomi's robust individual ownership suggests its key decisions are heavily influenced by the broader investing public.

Insiders also maintain a considerable 34% ownership stake in the company. As the stock rallied last week, insider shareholders, including CEO Jun Lei who holds 24% of outstanding shares, saw the value of their holdings rise substantially.
